Akshlok Dhoop sticks are based on the concept 'Biomass waste is a secondary resource' wherein biomass residues such as fallen leaves and twigs have been used to make incense sticks. These sticks contain no forest raw materials such as bamboo, charcoal and sawdust. Moreover, fallen leaves and twigs which otherwise would have been openly incinerated causing climate change and air pollution are used to make the incense sticks. Using these incense sticks, thus helps prevent the usage of forest based incense sticks there by protecting forests world wide. The strong belief is that the future is bright if the implementation is right.
